Applied Sciences Department is one of the oldest departments in the institute.
it has a modern laboratory which are well equipped to provide relevant and competitive training.
The courses offered in the department are market driven and this enables our graduands to fit well in the industry.
The department is manned by highly qualified lecturers employed by TSC and also part time lecturers who assist when there is a high workload. In order to improve our performance we usually work in collaboration with our neighbouring institutions offering the same programmes.
The department has a mathematics section which provides lecturers for Mathematics in all other departments. Students who do not score better grades in KCSE Mathematics are usually offered to bridging courses in Mathematics to enable them qualify to other programmes in the institute.
